Hand County Ambulance Service is staffed by a dedicated team of well-trained individuals committed to providing timely, compassionate emergency medical care throughout Hand County and beyond.

Our service operates two ambulances, including a 2014 Type III ambulance and a 2007 backup unit. We cover 1,488 square miles and also assist neighboring communities when called upon.

In 2026, our team responded to 267 calls, including emergency responses, patient transfers, and standby services for community events such as football games, car races, rodeos, and other local activities.

We believe education and preparedness are also an important part of caring for our community. Our team visits daycares, schools, the Farm & Home Show, and other community events to provide ambulance tours and share information about emergency services.
